Are You Faking It? A Soulful Way to Fake It ‘Till You Make It

Are you faking it? There are two kinds of faking it and only one feeds your soul.

Let’s talk about the kind that doesn’t first. The best example of this is, well you know the one I mean. I’ve never really understood this kind of faking it because it denies your soul the pleasure it deserves. Yeah, I’ll admit it. I’ve tried it a time or two, so I know it leads to an empty soul.

So whenever you catch yourself in the soul-sucking faking it, switch it to the kind that feeds your soul – “Fake it ‘till you make it”. To fake it till you make it, ask your soul what youd be doing if you were living in alignment with your soulThen ask your ego to figure out how to fake doing that with the expectation you’ll fail before it comes naturally. Fake it till you make it soothes the ego’s fears by making it okay to fail and giving it a job to focus on, while providing your soul the nourishment it needs

So, what does all this have to do with your home? If you’re pretending to like something about your home that leaves your soul empty then think about how you can fake it till you make it by asking your soul what it wants instead. If you need help hearing your soul, check out Episode 03.

Once you know what your soul wants, commit to faking it till you make it for 30 days. I hope you can use fake it till you make it to nourish your soul and sooth your ego

If you feel moved write about this below because sharing is good for your soul. Next week, we’ll talk about: Getting what you want by assuming you can have it.

Until next time, I wish you well on your journey.

So, what happens if you fake it but don’t make it after 30 days? And is there a particular reason why it should be 30 days?

Good Question Queenie! Most likely if you fake it for 30 days and don’t “make it” it wasn’t meant to be and your soul is calling you in a different direction or to try “faking it” in another way. And it’s for 30 days because it generally takes 21 days of repeatedly doing something to form a new habit. I tacked on another week just to be safe. 🙂
